Erin and Kyle’s Bedford Post Inn intimate wedding was an evening I will treasure for a long time. These two decided to forgo the traditional big wedding and opted for a family only elopement style dinner party instead. I’m usually a fan of a big party, but there is something so calming and romantic about the idea of just you and your partner making your vows with your closest family there to witness.
The scene was perfectly set at the charming Bedford Post Inn, a small inn just an hour north of New York City. It had rained all day, but cleared up just in time for the small ceremony, leaving the grounds of the inn saturated and the sky moody, adding to the romance of the day. Erin and Kyle said their vows under the inn’s trellised patio and then everyone sat down to a lovely dinner together.
One thing I love so much about intimate weddings is the opportunity to slow down and really focus on photographing the little moments between the newlyweds and guests. This wedding was full of moments like that and it was a joy to capture!
