The Alaska Wild

I had the most amazing 30th birthday trip to southeastern Alaska!  Between ice-blue glacial lakes, misty oceans, prop-planes and wild grizzlies, Alaska was everything my wild heart could dream of.  Did you know that Alaska is three times bigger than Texas (and there are a lot more bears)!?   I think this beautiful landscape will always be a special place for me, since at the very end of the trip my wonderful boyfriend (who planned this whole expedition as a surprise) asked me to marry him… I really couldn’t think of a more perfect place for us to (officially) begin our lives together.  I can’t wait to get back to explore more of this vast, remote corner of America!
