I met Jackie and Craig in 2016, when Craig helped me secretly photograph his brother’s surprise proposal and then again at the wedding that followed.   I heard from Craig a few years later when it was his turn to pop the question to his lovely soon-to-be fiancée Jackie.  Craig surprised Jackie by asking her to marry him in the garden courtyard of MoMA, one of their favorite places in the Manhattan.  She of course said yes and I was so excited to be asked to also photograph their upcoming wedding!

The couple had their Plandome Country Club wedding on a rainy fall day.  Jackie’s look was the embodiment a classic bride in her Caroline Herrera gown, complete with a preppy bow on the back of the gown – such a fun touch to make the look her own!

The day threaten for rain, but the bride and groom decided to go forward with their outdoor ceremony – much to my delight!  They said “I do” in front of friends and family huddled under umbrellas, which made for such a romantic and intimate feeling.  Port Washington Florist designed a stunning white rose arch for the ceremony backdrop.  After saying their vows, we all headed inside to celebrate and dance the night away to The Blake Band!
