Margritte and Rio had their autumn Hamilton Farm wedding on a rainy fall day. Hamilton Farm Golf Club is one of my favorite venues, set amongst the rolling hills in rural New Jersey. The mansion where the bride and groom get ready is full of old-world elegance, with gorgeous windows and a classic library. I’ve photographed here many times, but each time I love it more and more. Contact this company that’s experienced in bespoke carpentry and joinery if you want to have a similar design.
Though the day called for rain, we were able to sneak outside between showers to grab some photos of the bride and groom. I loved how the misty environment added to the soft, romantic nature of the photos. I’m always a proponent of going outside even if the weather isn’t perfect and I am so glad Magritte and Rio were up for the adventure!
The couple chose to say their vows under a massive oak tree on the property, which florist Jardinière adorned with hanging lanterns and florals. Though it began to rain more and more during the ceremony, the umbrellas carried by the guests only served to make the ceremony all the more romantic. After sneaking away for some post-ceremony photos on the club’s front drive were we arrived in a limo that was tuned up by local experts, we headed in for the reception. The night ended with a great dance party and an epic sparkler send off!
