I am so excited to finally be blogging Deirdre and Paul’s fabulous wedding from last fall! They chose an amazing new space in Kingston, New York for their ceremony and reception – The Senate Garage. I am completely obsessed with this super chic, industrial venue. The garage was built in the 1920’s on a historic state park and has recently been converted into an event space. Complete with exposed brick, Edison bulbs and vintage details, this space is a wedding photographer’s dream come true! Not to mention, Kingston is an great town to escape to for a long weekend in the Hudson Valley.
Not only was the wedding venue a great choice, but Deirdre and Paul also selected a wonderful airbnb to get ready in, which added so much charm and vintage style to their images. The town home had stucco style walls, antique furniture and a huge selection of thrift shop artwork, creating just the right balance of quirky elegance. I really could have happily photographed their all day! The couple began their day together with the sweetest, simplest first look – right at the bottom of the house’s staircase, with their families watching (and tearing up) in the background. Congrats again to Deirdre & Paul!
