Ali and Tom are the kind of couple that you can tell are going to stand the test of time.  Even before their wedding, they’d already been put to the test, sticking by each other through the challenges of a long distance, military relationship (check out thegirlfriendactivationsystem.com)  Some things are just undeniably worth fighting for!  It was such a pleasure to be at Hamilton Farm for their union and to meet their friends and families.  A special thanks to Tom and to many of the wedding guests for their service!

      THE WEDDING DAY

Ali is one of those classic beauties that you just know is going to be a joy to photograph.  Her heir and makeup were flawless; and that dress… hands down one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen! The happy tears started flowing early when Ali and her father did a “first look” on the grand staircase of the venue.  All of the emotions continued as both father and daughter openly cried as they walked down the aisle at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.  These are the moments when I feel so extremely lucky to do what I do for a living!

The day wasn’t all tears, there were also lots of smiles and so much joy!  From the moment Ali and Tom exited the church through a traditional military saber arch, it was all fun from then on!  Things even got a little crazy on the trolley ride back to the venue… With champaign popped and american flag sunglasses on, this wedding crew was ready to party!

      THE DETAILS: HAMILTON FARM

Ali and Tom’s wedding was super fun, but what made it even more wonderful as a photographer was the amount of detail put into the decor.  Ali worked with the phenomenal White Hall Events to create her unique summery vision.  I’ve been to Hamilton Farm many times before, but I’ve never seen it decorated quite like this.  Floral geniuses Rye Workshop created a floral trellis out of the grand staircase and even covered the chandeliers in the reception tent with ivy and peonies.  The final touch was the  delicious layer cake from Sweet Love & Cake, with a cake topper that read “You’re My Greatest Adventure.”  Sounds about right to me!
