Information about cover selections and upgrades:

      • Couple’s albums are 10×10 inches. Standard Parent Albums are 8×8 inches. Parent Albums can also upgrade to 10×10 inches for an additional $200.
      • Most albums have a base of 80 images, but please check your contract or invoice to determine how many images are included.
      • Additional images are $5 each.
      • Select your cover material from fabric, linen or leather cover options.  “Luxe Linen” and “Luxe Leather” or are a $30 upgrade.
      • Scroll to the bottom of this page to see all of the cover options as well as samples of fonts and title placements, custom logos, and examples of the custom boxes.
      • Choose from either a title engraving, image cameo cutout (both included in the base price) or upgrade to a semi-custom logo for $35 (see options below) or a fully customized engraving of your monogram or logo for $100. If you choose this fully customized upgrade, you must provide me with the file you wish to use for the engraving.
      • Standard engravings can be one or two lines.  Typically line one will be the couple’s first names and line two will be the date. The second line will be 20% smaller.  Please type your title exactly as you would like it engraved.
      • On certain types of cover materials, you can choose a colored foil for your engraving or leave the engraving colorless. This is only an option for Linen, Lux Linen, Lux Leather, Vegan Leather and Vegan Suede.
      • For cameo cutouts, please make a note of which image from your gallery you would like on the cover and if you would like it cropped to a square or left in its original dimensions.
      • For the upgraded fully customizable monogram or logo, please email me what you have in mind and I will provide feedback on if it will print well or not.
      • You can also add an heirloom box for your album, which I highly recommend to keep it safe. For fabric or linen albums you can choose a matching fabric or linen box. For leather albums, you can choose a walnut wooden box. Boxes can also be customized with an engraving.
      • All upgrades are subject to sales tax where applicable and will be billed before the album is sent to production.

Tips for making a great album that tells the full story of your wedding:

      • Select a scene setting image of the venue or general location to create a sense of place.
      • Select 3-4 images of apparel and invitation details.
      • Select 4-6 images each of the couple getting ready.
      • Select 8-10 portraits of the couple together from different locations, varying backdrops and a mix of focal lengths (some full length, some tighter).
      • Select 4-6 photos of the wedding party.  Try to keep the selection of groomsmen photos and bridesmaid photos equal in number, when applicable.  I don’t recommend including individual photos of each bridesmaid or groomsman, but sticking to group shots instead.
      • For family photos, try to limit repetition and just include key combinations, without excluding any important family members.   Ideally include either all full-length or all half-length photos for a more consistent look.
      • For the ceremony, think about the storyline and be sure to include key elements.  For most weddings, I recommend including a photo of the bride(s) walking in (when applicable), a photo of the groom(s) reacting (when applicable), a wide photo of the ceremony scene, 2-3 close up photos of the vows and the ring exchange, a photo of the kiss and a photo of the recessional.  You can also consider including photos of parents watching or of key speakers.
      • For cocktail hour, I recommend either including no photos, or including at least 4-8, so they can make up an entire page.
      • For décor, include a photo of the overall reception space, as well as 3-6 photos of the floral centerpieces, table place settings or other design elements.
      • For the reception, again be sure to include key moments, including the first dance, parent dances, each person giving a toast, the couple reacting to toasts, and the cake cutting (as well as other key moments that may pertain to your wedding specifically). Then include your favorite photos of guests having fun!
      • Be sure to include a photo of your send-off, if you did one.
